Export Diesel Tow Tractor
30% More Torque for the World’s Most Demanding Operations
Tiger Export Diesel tow tractors are purpose-built for international airports, ports, manufacturing facilities and government operations where diesel fuel infrastructure is standard and tier 3 engines are permitted. The Kubota diesel powertrain delivers a 30% increase in torque over gas models — a measurable difference operators feel on every pull — while running on ultra-low to high sulfur diesel fuel, biodiesel (B20) and jet fuel (JP-5 and JP-8).
Like every Tiger, the Export Diesel model is engineered with a 100% steel body-on-frame design, common industry service parts and a standardized operator experience that requires little to no specialized training. With a hitch towing rating up to 60,000 lbs., Tiger Export Diesel is built for operations where sustained pulling power and fuel availability are non-negotiable.
Tiger Export Diesel is available in countries that allow tier 3 engine use.

Seamless operator experience
Tiger Export Diesel tow tractors use the same chassis, controls and operator interface as every model in the Tiger lineup. Crews trained on Tiger Gas, LPG or Li-Ion tractors can step into a Tiger Export Diesel and get to work immediately — no retraining, no downtime. Maintenance teams benefit from common industry service parts and a straightforward diagnostic system, keeping fleets running in regions where specialized parts sourcing can slow operations.
For facilities operating mixed fleets, the consistent Tiger platform means one training program, one parts inventory and one maintenance workflow across diesel and gasoline models alike.

Tiger Export Diesel Tow Tractor FAQ
Common questions from fleet managers, GSE procurement and airport operations teams evaluating Tiger Export Diesel tow tractors for international deployments
Have a question not answered here? Contact our Tiger specialists.
How much can the Tiger Export Diesel tow tractor tow?
The Tiger Export Diesel is rated to tow up to 60,000 lbs. via hitch. Its Kubota diesel powertrain delivers 30% more torque than comparable gas models, providing sustained pulling power through a 14:1 transmission for heavy cargo, baggage trains and equipment towing at airports, ports and industrial facilities worldwide.
What fuels does the Tiger Export Diesel support?
Tiger Export Diesel runs on a range of fuel types, including ultra-low to high sulfur diesel, biodiesel (B20) and jet fuel (JP-5 and JP-8). This flexibility is a significant advantage for airport operations where jet fuel is readily available on the ramp, and for international deployments where diesel fuel grades vary by region.
Where is the Tiger Export Diesel available?
Tiger Export Diesel is available in countries that permit tier 3 engine use. It is designed specifically for international markets where diesel fuel infrastructure is well-established and emissions regulations allow tier 3 engines. For availability in your region, contact our Tiger specialists for guidance.
What is the difference between the Tiger Export Diesel and Tiger Gas models?
Both models share the same 100% steel body-on-frame chassis, Kubota powertrain platform, 60,000-lb. tow rating and operator controls. The key differences are fuel type and torque output. The Tiger Export Diesel powertrain produces 30% more torque than the gas model, making it the stronger choice for sustained heavy towing. The Export Diesel model also accepts multiple fuel types — including jet fuel — giving operations more flexibility. The Tiger Gas and LPG models are available domestically, while the Tiger Export Diesel is built for international markets with tier 3 engine allowances.
Can the Tiger Export Diesel be configured with a full cab for weather protection?
Yes. Tiger Export Diesel is available with two cab configurations. The all-weather steel cab includes a fully enclosed structure with steel doors, sliding windows, a tip-out front windshield with wiper, heater, defroster, fan, mirrors, dome light and beacon light. The steel sun cab provides a roof structure with a tip-out windshield and optional dome light and fan. Both configurations are designed for operators working in demanding outdoor environments year-round.
Tiger Li-Ion
Ready to Electrify your Fleet?
The Tiger Li-Ion delivers the same rugged steel chassis, 60,000-lb. tow rating and familiar operator controls as the Tiger Gas — with zero tailpipe emissions, 78% less maintenance and more than $11,000 in annual savings per unit. Backed by a 5-year, 5,000-hour battery warranty.
