Aviation Ground Support Equipment
Taylor-Dunn Airport Vehicles
Electric airport utility vehicles for baggage handling, lavatory service, potable water, terminal maintenance and more.
Complete GSE Fleet from the Tiger Family of Brands
Taylor-Dunn and Tiger from Waev Inc.
Taylor-Dunn’s Bigfoot electric utility vehicles support every operation between aircraft arrivals and departures — baggage handling, lavatory service, potable water service, food service, terminal maintenance, security and passenger transport. All Bigfoot models operate indoors and outdoors and charge from a standard 110-volt shop outlet, without requiring new charging infrastructure.
Tiger and Taylor-Dunn come from the same manufacturer, Waev. Specifically, Tiger handles heavy-duty towing up to 60,000 lbs. for aircraft and large GSE. Taylor-Dunn handles utility-scale operations up to 10,000 lbs. of towing for ramp service and terminal logistics. Together, they give airport operators and fleet managers a complete, zero-emission electric airport ground support fleet from a single source.

AIRPORT BAGGAGE HANDLING GSE
Hotshot Baggage Trucks
Move Luggage from Tarmac to Carousel, Shift After Shift

AIRCRAFT LAVATORY SERVICE GSE
Lavatory Service Trucks
Self-Contained Aircraft Lavatory Servicing on the Tarmac
The Taylor-Dunn Bigfoot XL lavatory service truck handles aircraft waste removal and blue water replenishment in one self-contained unit. With 215-gallon total capacity and all aircraft service couplings included, together ground crews complete a full lavatory service turn without a separate support vehicle, which keeps turn times short and efficient between flights.
Bigfoot XL Lavatory Service Truck Key Specs:
- Total capacity: 215 gallons (150-gallon waste, 65-gallon blue water)
- Pump: 12-volt
- Shore power: 110-volt connection (space heater and blue water tank heater)
- Hose: 20 ft. x 1 in. with real breakaway coupling
- Dump hose: 12 ft. x 4 in. diameter crush-proof
- Standard aircraft lavatory service couplings on both hoses
- Additional features: resettable flow meter, fill level sight gauge, fork pockets
AIRCRAFT WATER SERVICE GSE
Potable Water Service Trucks
Self-Contained Aircraft Potable Water Servicing
The Taylor-Dunn Bigfoot XL potable water service truck delivers fresh aircraft water service from a single self-contained unit with no tender vehicle required. The truck features a large clean-out access hatch which simplifies tank sanitation between services. Additionally, it includes fork pockets which allow the unit to be repositioned by forklift when ramp configuration changes between flights.
Bigfoot XL Potable Water Service Truck Key Specs:
- Tank capacity: 175 gallons
- Pump: 12-volt
- Shore power: 110-volt connection
- Hose: 20 ft. x 1 in. diameter with breakaway coupling
- Additional features: fill level sight gauge, large clean-out access hatch, fork pockets, 6.5 cu. ft. cargo storage

Airport Tow Trucks
Utility Towing Up to 10,000 lbs. and Heavy-Duty Towing Up to 60,000 lbs.
Waev offers airport tow trucks at both ends of the towing spectrum. The Taylor-Dunn Bigfoot handles utility-scale towing such as bag carts, ramp carts and service equipment positioning. Meanwhile, the Tiger tow tractor handles heavy-duty ramp towing including cargo loaders and large GSE train operations. Both run on 100% steel frames and are built for daily airport use. Many ground crews operate both simultaneously: one for utility, one for heavy towing.

What is the relationship between Taylor-Dunn and Tiger?
Taylor-Dunn and Tiger are both brands from Waev Inc. However, they serve different roles in the airport ground support equipment fleet. Tiger makes heavy-duty tow tractors for heavy ramp towing up to 60,000 lbs. and has operated on airport ramps since 1981. Whereas Taylor-Dunn makes electric utility vehicles, burden carriers and aviation service trucks for utility-scale ramp and terminal operations up to 10,000 lbs. of towing. Because both brands are from Waev, airport operators can source a complete ground fleet — baggage trucks, lavatory service trucks, water service trucks, maintenance vehicles, security vehicles and heavy tow tractors — through one company.
Which Taylor-Dunn Bigfoot model is best for airport baggage handling?
Overall, the Bigfoot XL is the recommended model for most airport baggage handling operations. It provides the highest towing capacity in the lineup at 10,000 lbs., the widest cargo bed at 54 in. and the highest top speed at 18 mph which is important for covering longer tarmac-to-terminal distances with full bag cart trains. Alternatively, the standard Bigfoot (7,500-lb. tow capacity, 44-in. bed) suits smaller airports and FBOs with shorter cart trains and tighter ramp corridors. Lastly, the Bigfoot S (5,000-lb. tow capacity, 110-in. turning radius) works best in constrained indoor terminal environments where tight maneuverability is the priority.
Do Taylor-Dunn Bigfoot airport vehicles require dedicated EV charging stations?
No. All Bigfoot models include a standard onboard 1 kW charger and charge from a standard 110-volt shop wall outlet. The same outlet used for power tools and maintenance equipment for example. As a result, no Level 2 charging stations, utility permits, electrical panel upgrades or dedicated EV infrastructure are required. However, for operations running multiple vehicles across extended shifts simultaneously, an external charger can reduce individual charge times. Additionally, the lithium-ion battery option (available on Bigfoot and Bigfoot XL) also supports opportunity charging which means short top-up charges during breaks or between flights are safe and do not degrade the battery pack or reduce cycle life.
What are the full specifications of the Taylor-Dunn lavatory service truck?
The Taylor-Dunn Bigfoot XL lavatory service truck has a 215-gallon total capacity — 150-gallon waste tank and 65-gallon blue water tank. The unit includes a 12-volt pump, 110-volt shore power connection for the space heater and blue water tank heater, resettable flow meter, fill level sight gauge, a 20 ft. x 1 in. hose with real breakaway coupling, a 12 ft. x 4 in. diameter crush-proof dump hose, standard aircraft lavatory service couplings on both hoses and fork pockets for forklift repositioning. Together, these features make the Bigfoot XL lavatory service truck fully self-contained. As a result, one vehicle completes a full aircraft lavatory service without a secondary support unit.
